Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Spanish language and the richness of its diverse cultures. In this course, you will learn beginning grammar and vocabulary skills to help build basic fluency and language proficiency. You will explore the culture and apply what you learn through written practice, listening, and speaking exercises. This course provides elective credit.
Cost: Students purchase 28 days of access for $105. Students may work as quickly through the content as they wish. Every 28 days, students may purchase an additional 28 days of access for an additional $105.

Students will demonstrate an understanding of greetings and introductions, cognates, numbers to 20, and adjectives by interpreting and communicating in written and spoken Spanish on topics such as exchanging information about oneself and others in Spanish-speaking countries.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of noun classes, the verb necessitar, definite and indefinite articles, and numbers to 30 by interpreting and communicating in written and spoken Spanish on topics such as schools, time, and schedules in Spanish-speaking countries.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of verbs of preference, singular forms of regular verbs, and tener expressions by interpreting and communicating in written and spoken Spanish on topics such as foods and dining customs in Spanish-speaking countries.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of irregular verbs, prepositions of location, and stem-changing verbs by interpreting and communicating in written and spoken Spanish on topics such as pastimes, obligations, and activities around the house in Spanish-speaking countries.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of possessive constructions, descriptive adjectives, the verb ser, interrogatives, and plural forms of -AR verbs by interpreting and communicating in written and spoken Spanish on topics such as family and celebrations in Spanish-speaking countries.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the verb IR, adverbs of location, recent past, and near future by interpreting and communicating in written and spoken Spanish on topics such as shopping, weather, and activities around town in Spanish-speaking countries.
