Welcome to Full-Time Middle School Education with VLACS
Get unlimited access to high-quality online education by registering at VLACS full-time. Learn at your own pace, set your own schedule, and follow your passions with hundreds of classes and experiential learning opportunities. You’ll build relationships with your teachers and peers and prepare yourself to thrive in high school and beyond.

How it Works
When you register for our full-time middle school program, VLACS becomes your official school of record. VLACS determines when you have met the competency requirements to advance grade levels. You will receive transcripts and other official documentation of learning and attendance from VLACS, an approved New Hampshire public charter school.
Step 1. Enroll
Before you apply, you will need to enroll your child in at least three VLACS courses.
Step 2. Apply
Complete a non-competitive application for your child to become a full-time student at VLACS.
Step 3. Work With VLACS
After your application is processed, VLACS will enroll you in the Admissions Information Overview, collect the necessary documents, and complete the full-time registration process.
Supporting Your Full Learning Needs
Our virtual middle school courses provide flexible options to suit different learning styles and paces. Our holistic approach gives all students the support they need to succeed.
Parents & Families
Parents are always encouraged to become involved in their student’s academic career at VLACs. Parents have regular meetings with their student’s teachers, as well as receive regular communication and monthly progress reports. Parents can check on their student’s progress at any time through their VLACS parent account.
Support Team
Virtual school doesn’t mean going it alone. You’ll get an instructor for each class you enroll in, as well as an academic advisor who works directly with you to help design your full-time program. You also have access to an academic help desk, a technical help desk, and a team of VLACs professional staff.
Teachers
Our certified, experienced teachers provide one-on-one instruction, support, and feedback on a regular basis.
Accelerated Learning
Looking for advanced courses? Students who have met the prerequisites for high school courses can begin earning credits toward graduation while in middle school.
Registration and Tuition
To register full-time, you will need to complete a non-competitive application designed to support your decision-making process. As an accredited public charter school, our full-time programs are free to New Hampshire residents. All others pay tuition based on their course load.
Requirements
Full-Time Middle School Course Requirements
As a full-time student at VLACS, your instructors and academic advisor will work one-on-one with you to choose courses at the appropriate grade level. You will be required to take four core academic courses during each year of enrollment.
The core disciplines are:
- English Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Social Studies
- Science
In addition, you will be required to take one physical education or health course and one elective course each year. You will also be automatically enrolled in an advisory course which will serve as your “home base” for support in completing all coursework and planning your academic journey.
