EARLY COLLEGE
In partnership with University of New Hampshire (UNH) and VLACS, high school students can take college courses and earn both college and high school credit. This program gives students the opportunity to get a head start with their college coursework in a cost-effective way, while also earning credit that counts toward high school graduation.

You can register for dual enrollment courses and earn VLACS credits toward your diploma if you meet these criteria:
Both NH students and out-of-state students who have not already earned a high school diploma are eligible. See our tuition page for fees.
Must be a high school junior or senior and complete coursework prior to your 21st birthday.
Must have completed a minimum of high school sophomore English or equivalent (specific courses may have additional pre-requisites).
Select Early College Courses to view course materials and assignments before you make your selections.
If you have not enrolled at VLACS before, you will need to create a student account in Compass, our student information system. You cannot begin the course until you pay the administrative fee.
Once you complete your course, you will receive VLACS credit. Provided you complete it by the UNH deadline, you will also receive UNH credit.

*We cannot guarantee that all colleges and universities will accept UNH credits, just as not all colleges accept AP courses as college credit.
Students can earn a total of 28 UNH credits through the Early College program.
