Overview

Students will learn about three careers of their choice and interact with professionals via live video conferences and by accessing a library of pre-recorded videos. Live sessions are hosted by VLACS instructors who also provide support and feedback throughout the learning experience. Students are required to attend two live video conferences and to watch at least one pre-recorded session. Other required activities include researching career requirements, average salaries, and job outlooks. The final project is a reflection that summarizes what the student has learned.

During this course, you will learn career-related skills and earn a badge for this accomplishment. A badge is a digital certification of your career-related learning that you can share on social media and higher education platforms, or with colleges, potential employers, peers, and colleagues.
