Available to students in grades 6-12. VLACS will be the official school for students choosing this option.

Student Options at VLACS

High School Student Yes. Completion of the full-time application process is required. Yes. We recommend you contact your local school prior to starting a VLACS course. Typically, no. However, during the pandemic, this may be allowed provided that your local school approves. Yes. As a homeschooled student, you would be considered a part-time VLACS student and may take up to six credits per year.
Middle School Student Yes. Completion of the full-time application process is required. Yes. We recommend you contact your local school prior to starting a VLACS course. Typically, no. However, during the pandemic, this may be allowed provided that your local school approves. Yes. As a homeschooled student, you would be considered a part-time VLACS student and may take up to six credits per year.
Elementary School Not at this time. However, elementary students may use VLACS as their homeschool platform. Yes. We recommend that you contact your local school prior to starting a VLACS course.
