This fitness course was designed to offer three modules of motivation to achieve a healthy lifestyle for teens. The modules Move Strong, Live Well, and Eat Healthy, guide students through strength and endurance training, choosing lifetime fitness activities, and connecting nutrition to lifetime fitness. The course is filled with language and images that reflect strength and diversity to motivate teens and allow them to envision themselves committing to fitness activities and a healthy mindset.
Cost: Students purchase 28 days of access for $105. Students may work as quickly through the content as they wish. Every 28 days, students may purchase an additional 28 days of access for an additional $105.
Module 1: Move Strong
n Module 1, students learn why lifetime fitness starts now. They assess their current fitness level, set fitness goals, learn how to use training principles to reach them, and design and perform their own workout. Students complete at least 420 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity each week and submit two activity journals per module.

Module 2: Live Well
In Module 2, students learn about a variety of different activities, including individual, dual, and team sports, recreation, and adventure. They explore integrity and norms for sportsmanship, purchasing equipment and accessories, and the importance of maintaining proper form and healthy sleep habits. Students complete at least 420 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity each week and submit two activity journals per module.

Module 3: Eat Healthy
In Module 3, students learn about how nutrition affects overall health and athletic performance. They explore nutrition and labeling through multiple interactive activities that help them understand the meaning behind various nutrition claims (low fat, low sugar, etc.). They also apply their knowledge to their own dietary choices and variations and plan meals accordingly. Students complete at least 420 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity each week and submit two activity journals per module.

Students will demonstrate an understanding of building a healthy body by describing lifetime fitness foundations, explaining training principles, explaining cardio endurance and flexibility, and explaining muscular strength and endurance.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of eating for health by summarizing healthy eating habits, explaining the nutritional value of food, and explaining the effects of nutrition on the body.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of lifelong fitness by explaining responsible and respectful behaviors, summarizing lifelong fitness activities, summarizing movement strategies, and explaining movement mechanics.
