Welcome to CompTIA Network+ N10-009. This course provides the basic knowledge needed to plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot modern networks in a vendor-neutral format; this includes physical network components and technologies, logical structures, common protocols, and network security. This course maps to the CompTIA Network+ certification exam.
Cost: Students purchase 28 days of access for $105. Students may work as quickly through the content as they wish. Every 28 days, students may purchase an additional 28 days of access for an additional $105.
Competencies
Network Infrastructure
Students will demonstrate an understanding of network infrastructure by describing network architecture, explaining network addressing, and describing network infrastructure technologies.
Network Installations
Students will demonstrate an understanding of network installations by describing wireless technologies, describing wireless devices, and describing physical installations.
Networking Fundamentals
Students will demonstrate an understanding of networking fundamentals by describing network components, explaining cloud concepts, and describing internet protocol.
Network Management
Students will demonstrate an understanding of network management by describing organizational systems, explaining network monitoring, and explaining network management methods.
Network Security
Students will demonstrate an understanding of network security by describing security concepts, summarizing network attacks, and describing network security features.
Network Troubleshooting
Students will demonstrate an understanding of network troubleshooting by explaining troubleshooting methodology, explaining troubleshooting network services, and summarizing network troubleshooting techniques.
