Here, you will take the time to look over your past SAT results or complete diagnostic quizzes that will allow you to understand what you need to focus on in order to better prepare yourself for the SAT. We will do all of this by using a wonderful resource known as Khan Academy.

SAT Math

3-4 Weeks
Students will demonstrate an understanding of SAT math concepts and skills by demonstrating problem-solving skills in algebra, advanced algebra, data analysis, geometry, and trigonometry.
Here you will focus on the skills needed in order to prepare yourself for the Math section of the SAT. You will answer a variety of practice questions in Khan Academy, using specific tips and strategies to improve your performance. You will also spend time reflecting on your practice and the strategies you used, which will help you understand the concepts and skills needed for success on the SAT.
SAT Reading and Writing

3-4 Weeks
Students will demonstrate an understanding of SAT reading and writing concepts and skills by analyzing the structure and purpose of text passages, revising a variety of passages, and critiquing the proper use of grammar throughout text passages.
Here you will focus on the skills needed in order to prepare yourself for the Reading and Writing section of the SAT. You will answer a variety of practice questions in Khan Academy, using specific tips and strategies to improve your performance. You will also spend time reflecting on your practice and the strategies you used, which will help you understand the concepts and skills needed for success on the SAT.
SAT Essay

3-4 Weeks
Students will demonstrate an understanding of SAT skills and concepts of writing an essay in response to reading a text by using and applying skills in reading, writing and analysis.
Here you will focus on the skills needed in order to prepare yourself for the Essay section of the SAT. You will read through two separate passages and write an essay in response to the prompts that are provided for each passage in Khan Academy. You will also receive feedback that will give you recommendations for how to improve your essay according to the rubric that will be used on the SAT. This practice will help you understand the concepts and skills needed for success on the SAT.
