VLACS has partnered with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) to offer a graduate certificate in Customized Learning, a 15-credit program designed to help educators understand and implement customized learning strategies.

About Customized Learning Graduate Courses

  • These courses are designed for educational professionals
  • Each course may be taken on its own or as part of a cluster of courses on the foundations of customized learning
  • Each course is comprised of 44 hours of work over 8 weeks. One credit is awarded per course
  • Courses are taught by VLACS instructors approved by SNHU

Real Instructors Teach Courses

Customized Learning graduate courses are taught by VLACS instructors who have the requisite degrees and backgrounds to teach at the college level and have been approved by SNHU. Just as you would in a typical VLACS course, you will meet with your instructors consistently for guidance and support.

How it Works

Create account
1. Create a VLACS Account

If you do not have an account already, you will need to create one. Use the link below and select Account Creation, and then choose New Student.

2. View course information in the Learning Catalog

Select Adult Education to view course materials and assignments before you make your selections.

3. Enroll in courses through SNHU

Follow the 4-step process to create your SNHU account and enroll in the eStart courses of your choice.

4. Get academic credit

As long as you have an active VLACS account and you enroll in Dual Credit courses through SNHU, you will receive VLACS credit automatically when you complete a course.

Enrollment and Tuition

There is a tuition fee to enroll in Customized Learning graduate courses.

There is a cost of $105 for a four-week subscription to each course
