Civics and Civility has partnered with the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS) to offer high school students the opportunity to earn credit through this experiential learning opportunity.  To earn high school credit, you complete the tasks associated with your participation in the Civics and Civility event while also meeting VLACS’s course requirements with the support of an instructor.

Civics and Civility is an event on January 11, 2024 (8:30 AM – 12 PM, at Audi, Concord, NH), to launch a national campaign to fight against incivility in our country. Students can complete this experience either in-person or virtually. Please let your instructor know of your preference during your welcome call.

This exciting 3-hour event will take place live in New Hampshire and be streamed around the nation so that the feel of the New Hampshire Primary, one of the world’s Premier political events, can be experienced by students from around the country. Students will hear candidates express their opinions on why America’s young people should care about their candidacy, about participating in the process of electing the next President of the United States, and their thoughts on civility. And, in turn, students from everywhere will get to express their views through cell phone voting.
