Overview

Do you like to play with words? Would you like to build structures, become someone else, reflect on who you are, and connect to nature and music — all through words? In this enrichment experience, we will focus on a new creative writing theme or genre each week: poetry, music, description, micro-fiction, and nature. We will write together using imaginative prompts to spark our creativity, and our practice will culminate in a final celebration of student work.

This enrichment experience will meet weekly on Tuesdays at 10:00am. The session will run for six weeks starting the week of June 19th.

During this course, you will learn career-related skills and earn a badge for this accomplishment. A badge is a digital certification of your career-related learning that you can share on social media and higher education platforms, or with colleges, potential employers, peers, and colleagues.
