Overview

Do you like art? Have you ever thought about making art from things that you might throw away? In this enrichment experience students will learn about art, and recycling, by creating a recycled-material sculpture. During the first several weeks, students will learn about elements of art such as shape, texture, balance, and unity. Then, students will use their creativity, a collection of recyclable materials, and the elements of art to create their masterpiece.

This enrichment experience will meet weekly on Thursdays at 9:00am. The session will run for six weeks starting the week of June 19th.

Instructor will contact each enrolled student with more information, and a list of any required materials.

During this course, you will learn career-related skills and earn a badge for this accomplishment. A badge is a digital certification of your career-related learning that you can share on social media and higher education platforms, or with colleges, potential employers, peers, and colleagues.
