Monday, August 14 through Thursday, August 17, 9am – 11am and 12pm – 2pm
The goal of this workshop is to train leaders to facilitate transformational learning communities aligned with the principles and practices of the School Reform Initiative. Led by facilitators with experience coaching both face-to-face professional learning communities and virtual professional learning communities, this workshop will prepare participants to bring transformational learning to both settings.
Using an online meeting room, participants will meet virtually for four hours each day (two hours in the morning, 9am to 11am, and two hours in the afternoon, 12pm to 2pm). This training will revolve around four major topics: 1) Protocol Facilitation, 2) Professional Growth, 3) Community Building, and 4) Structure/Organization. Each of the activities and protocols is designed to help practice the individual skills connected to each of these topics. Participants will also engage in some asynchronous work between sessions, estimated at one hour per day.
Space is limited. Cost: $400
