Experience a new way of teaching and change the lives of your students, one relationship at a time.

Help More Students Succeed through Customized Learning

When you join the VLACS team, you’ll connect and build one-on-one relationships with your students, so you can empower them to achieve their unique goals — at their own pace, and through the learning options that best fit each student.

Connection

At VLACS, you’ll support your students’ learning through one-on-one connections. Students work asynchronously and at their own pace, with regular check-ins and individual support from highly qualified educators like you.

Flexibility

Our customized learning model gives you the flexibility to adjust your approach to fit each student’s needs, without the additional pressures of managing a classroom in real-time. Learn more about customized learning here.

Impact

You’ll be able to make an impact on students from all over New Hampshire and worldwide — many of whom would otherwise be unable to access the wide range of subjects and learning options offered at VLACS.

Training and Mentorship

We provide a training and mentorship program for every new instructor. This includes a 16-week intensive training where you’ll work with a mentor who’ll guide you, answer questions, and serve as a resource as you start your adjunct work. After training, adjunct instructors receive continued support from the Instructional Support Team.

We only hire experienced teachers who are certified or certifiable in New Hampshire to fill instructor vacancies. Instructors must also meet No Child Left Behind “Highly Qualified Teacher” requirements.

The teachers that I have come across at VLACS are first-rate, and undoubtedly one of a kind. The teachers here are not just teachers; they are your friends, your advisors, and sometimes even mentors. The teachers at VLACS have an unmatched ability to work with you to help you gain the knowledge that you need in order to accomplish your goals. They teach you how to utilize your knowledge and skills in every way possible to reach those said goals. They are constantly making sure that you have what you need, and they do what they can to meet your needs. They are there to help you and encourage you when you need it, and they always have your best interests at heart. They want to watch you grow and move forward into bigger and better things. They want to watch you take your steps into the world and make a name for yourself. They want to see you excel beyond your wildest dreams.”
